When will I cross paths with someone who has been hurt, neglected, or misinformed?

We are all born good.

We are taught to hate.

Anger grows inside us when we are violated in a minor or major way.

One of my fascinations is to learn people’s stories. I love to understand why we act the way we do and why we make the decisions that we do.

In doing that I have learned that there is always a reason why.

What happens to us is what leads to behaviors and decisions.

I am not an expert in anything, but I was a consultant and specialist in family engagement and early childhood education for over a decade.

During those years, I researched the brain and the relationships between caregivers and children.

Children need a lot of hugs, positive affirmations, stability, and guidance. I do not believe that you can overlove a child with too many hugs and kisses.

Being touched (appropriately) is a human need.

Being talked to and heard is a human need.
