Jen Sincero’s story is proof that you can “make it” at any age.
In her book, Jen shares that she was 40 when she started learning about money. Now she is earning 7 figures as a coach and author. The key to earning the money you need to live the life you want is to get comfortable with the idea of doing scary and uncomfortable shit. She defines that scenario as being rich. Rich is when you are able to afford all of the things and experiences required to fully experience your most authentic life.
What holds people back from pursuing their rich life is the belief that they are not worthy. They also feel that it is selfish for them to want to be wealthy. However, Jen states that wanting to be rich is healthy and it means that you have a desire for life.
Letting go of one’s lack mindset is another thing that holds people back. People believe that there is not enough money to go around so they don’t even try.
A great motivator for people who have negative emotions about making money is that in order to make positive changes in the world one needs to make money. Everyone wants to have a positive impact and money is a tool that will help you do that.
