Rage is blinding. I'm sure she loves her children, but she is overcome with her own emotions and grief.

As adults, we forget that kids have no control. They fully depend on us for their well-being.

I'm surprised that Child Protective Services has not been more involved since this is clearly a toxic environment for the children. Both parents need help in learning how to care for their children.
